  • About the Sports Medicine Fellowship

    Our fellows will be educated both on and off the field.The Sports Medicine Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is a one year program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). We have two positions available per academic year. Candidates should visit www.amssm.org to download the fellow application packet and instructions for submission.

    Our fellows will be educated both on and off the field. We offer a variety of clinical rotations as well as sideline/on field experiences with local high school and Division I NCAA athletic teams. Involvement in our research program will also be required.

    Below are some tips for submitting your application for the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship.

    • Applications will be accepted between July 1 and October 1 of each preceding academic year. If your application is not RECEIVED by October 1 it will not be considered.
    • All supporting documents (medical school diploma, medical license, USMLE scores, CV, and personal statement) MUST accompany your application. A complete list of documents can be found on the Universal Application for Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship.
    • An original signature is required on the application and therefore is not able to be submitted electronically.
    • All materials, including letters of recommendation should be sent to the following address:
