Child Life Internship and Practicum
The Division of Child Life and Integrative Care at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center offers both a child life internship and a child life practicum experience.
Both of these experiences are specifically for individuals preparing for a career in child life.

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center does not offer shadowing opportunities for prospective child life specialists outside of these two student opportunities:
- The child life practicum is for individuals who are preparing to become child life interns. This five-week practicum opportunity is offered for the summer semester
- The internship in child life is accredited by the Association of Child Life Professionals and requires completion of all academic course-work for child life certification eligibility prior to this experience. This opportunity is offered winter / spring, summer, and fall of each year for 16 consecutive weeks, full-time.
