Cincinnati Children’s has approximately 170 residents (including pediatrics and the combined programs). Each year, approximately 35 categorical pediatric appointments are made to the PL-1 class through the National Resident Matching Program. Prospective new residents are selected by a committee of full-time faculty, chief residents and house officers from each training level.
