Cincinnati Children’s has approximately 180 residents (including pediatrics and the combined programs). Each year, approximately 39 categorical pediatric appointments are made to the PL-1 class through the National Resident Matching Program. Prospective new residents are selected by a committee of full-time faculty, chief residents and house officers from each training level.
The Cincinnati Children’s pediatric residency program participates in ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service). For more information about the ERAS application process, contact your college dean’s office. Applications for the 2013 - 2014 academic year will be accepted until November 19, 2012.
