The Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics Division at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center has offered a nationally recognized residency program in pediatric dentistry since 1959. The program is distinguished as a hospital-based program with strong attention to academics. The program is fully accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
Six residents are accepted each year for the two-year program.

A clinical data-collection based research project is also a requirement during the program. Specialty clinics in endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery and esthetic dentistry are included and are staffed by board-certified (when applicable) specialists in each discipline
Candidates must be graduates of a U.S. or Canadian dental school and be participants in the PASS matching program. The deadline for applications is Sept. 15.
