Apply to the MD / PhD Program
Each year, approximately 33 categorical pediatric appointments are made to the PL-1 class through the National Resident Matching Program. Prospective new residents are selected by a committee of full-time faculty, chief residents and house officers from each training level.
Cincinnati Children’s pediatric residency program participates in ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service). Applicants are encouraged to make a personal visit to Cincinnati to meet the residents and faculty and tour our facilities. Finalist candidates will complete a two-day interview prior to selection. The first day will be a clinical interview, and the second day is a reverse interview during which the MD / PhD resident candidate interviews researchers.
