Kindervelt

A continual goal of Kindervelt is to welcome new members and to encourage the formation of new groups.
Kindervelt is an organization made up of many neighborhood and other common-interest groups, united by a citywide board of trustees, who share a common purpose – to have fun while making a difference in the lives of children through fundraising efforts.

With more than 1,200 members in Greater Cincinnati, Indiana and Northern Kentucky, Kindervelt is the largest auxiliary of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and is recognized as one of the Tristate's outstanding volunteer organizations.

Kindervelt's reputation for having enthusiastic, capable and reliable volunteers is the result of years of demonstrated success in achieving ambitious fundraising goals and building great friendships in the process.

Since its inception in 1971, Kindervelt has provided more than $12 million in support of initiatives and programs that affect the lives of thousands of children. Previous gifts have supported programs in critical care, trauma and adolescent medicine and have provided the foundation for the development of major medical breakthroughs and state-of-the-art care.

Kindervelt's largest fundraiser is a spectacular two-day family-friendly event called Kinderklaus Markt that raises over $150,000 annually. Held in November, the event draws thousands of people from the Tristate area for an exciting weekend of raffles, auctions gift shopping and children's activities.

If you are interested in joining or forming a Kindervelt group, you are invited to view an informational video and to attend a group meeting.
