Giving Hope, Cincinnati Children’s community philanthropy program, is a great way to teach students about the importance and responsibility of charitable giving. A Giving Hope FUNdraising event is a meaningful way for students to give back to the community by supporting a group to which they can most easily relate – other kids. Students can take part in planning, promoting and executing fundraising events that will have a direct impact on kids and families they may already know.
Giving Hope events should be, above all else, FUN! Your only limitation is your imagination, but to get those creative juices flowing, here are some ways other schools have chosen to support Cincinnati Children’s:

Smith Brinker started a golf tournament in 2009 to raise money for cancer research at Cincinnati Children's. Thanks to support from his St. Xavier teammates, family and friends, the event has raised nearly $100,000!
