Children and families come to us from all walks of life, with all sorts of conditions. Cincinnati Children’s exists to make sure these kids have a healthy and hopeful future. We are continually amazed at the strength, courage and optimism our patients and their families bring to our door, no matter what obstacles they face. The stories featured here are only a sampling of the miracles that take place at Cincinnati Children’s every day. Meet a few of these kids. 	Brea developed a life-threatening build-up of fluid on the brain at 7 months old.
	Max spent his first six months in intensive care on dialysis awaiting his life-saving kidney transplant.
	Adrian has had countless trips to Cincinnati Children's due to complications of sickle cell disease.
	Mia had the first of five surgeries at less than a month old, weighing just over 2 pounds.
