Meeting the Needs of Our Community

Daniel Choo, MD, leads the ENT Division at Cincinnati Children’s. He travels to our neighborhood locations to care for children like Anna, above, who received a cochlear implant earlier this year.

ENT is one of Cincinnati Children’s busiest subspecialties, with more than 33,000 visits and 11,000 surgeries annually. In an effort to improve access to these vital services, ENT was the first division to utilize neighborhood locations, providing convenient care for children requiring routine procedures such as ear tubes and tonsillectomies.

“The capacity to go out and serve our patients in locations and facilities closer to their homes offers a tremendous advantage for the families that we serve,” Dr. Choo says. “Often, physically getting children to their necessary appointments can be a great challenge. The neighborhood locations help ease some of those difficulties.”

We believe families throughout the Tristate should have convenient access to our expert care. In addition to our main Burnet campus, we currently offer 10 neighborhood locations across the region.
