Kidney Transplant: Overview of Possible Complications
Many patients will experience some type of complication within the first several months after undergoing a kidney transplant. The Pediatric Kidney Transplant Program team at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center will follow your child very closely during this period of time so that any problem that may occur can be treated immediately. The most common problems that occur are rejection and infection.
