Lamp Oil (Kerosene)

Lamp oil, or kerosene, is a hydrocarbon that can easily get into the lungs if swallowed, causing a pneumonia-like condition. Many products have an appealing color and fragrance, making them attractive to children. Keep oil locked away from children. Use oil lamps only under the strict supervision if there are children in the home.
