Now Patients Can Keep in Touch Online

Cincinnati Children's recently launched a new communication service for patients and families. CarePages are free, personalized, secure web pages where families can post news about their hospitalized child. They also can receive messages of support from family and friends, even if they are miles away. CarePages allow users to update all of their family and friends at the same time without repeated phone calls or email messages.

Visit the Family Resource Center on the second floor of Location D for more information or find CarePages online.

Concussion Patients Seen Within 48 Hours
Young athletes who have had a concussion can now be evaluated through the Sports Medicine Biodynamics Center at Cincinnati Children's. Jon Divine, MD, who runs the Concussion Clinic, evaluates patients with
concussions from sports-related injuries. When possible, Dr. Divine and his staff will see patients within two business days and make a decision within 24 hours after the visit regarding return to play. The goal is to have the athlete be symptom free before returning to play so there is less likelihood of complications with repeat concussions. To make an appointment, call 513-636-4366.
