Weight Reduction Medication Study
Is Your Child Taking Zyprexa, Risperdal or Seroquel and Gaining Weight?
- What
- The purpose of this research medication study is to determine the safety and effectiveness of a new drug to reduce weight gain in children taking Zyprexa, Risperdal and Seroquel.
- Who
- Children between the ages of 10 and 17 who have gained more than 10 percent of their body weight from, or are overweight and stable on, Zyprexa, Risperdal, or Seroquel may be eligible to participate.
- Pay
- Participants will receive study medication and dietary counseling from a registered dietitian at no charge. Results will be available to participants. Compensation for time and travel will be given.

Bipolar/ADHD Comparison Study
Seeking Children Ages 12-18 with ADHD for Research Study
- What
- A study comparing children diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), bipolar disorder and children with no diagnosis. The study lasts for one year and includes three visits.
- Who
- Children 12-18 years old with ADHD may qualify to participate.
- Pay
- Participants are paid $20 to $95 per appointment.
