Depression Medication Study

Summary
This clinical research study tests the effectiveness of a medication approved for adult depression, Lexapro", compared with a placebo (inactive medicine) in pediatric depression.
Participants
Adolescents ages 12 to 17 years old with major depressive disorder.

Fibromyalgia Medication and Behavioral Treatment Study

Summary
This is a medication and behavioral treatment study for children and teenagers with juvenile fibromyalgia.
Participants
Children and teens ages 11 to 18 years old with the following:
  • Widespread muscle/joint pain for more than three months
  • Sleep difficulty, fatigue, tension
  • Pain not caused by arthritis or other rheumatic disease
Pay
Participants will receive study assessments and treatment at no charge and will receive mileage reimbursement for study visits.
