Keeping Female Athletes in the Game

Young female athletes, particularly soccer and basketball players, are five times more likely to tear their ACL than male athletes. Female athletes become more susceptible to ACL injury during puberty, when increases occur in body mass and in the length of bones in the leg. Our Sports Medicine Biodynamics Center offers ACL assessments where we examine how your teen runs, jumps and lands to determine if
your student athlete may be at risk. Call 513-636-4366 for more information.
