Cinnnati Children's Web Site Offers Spanish Content

New Visiting Policy for Winter Months

Winter is the busiest season for respiratory infections and flu. To protect the health of patients, families and staff during the winter months, Cincinnati Children's will begin visitor restrictions on December 15, 2005. In general, only children who need evaluation and / or treatment should be brought to the hospital. All visitors on the inpatient units should be healthy and must be at least 14 years old.

Cincinnati Children's Web Site Offers Spanish Content

In order to better serve our growing Spanish-speaking population, Cincinnati Children's is now offering Spanish-language content on our web site. Spanish speakers can access information related to visiting Cincinnati Children's including maps and directions, frequently called numbers, billing assistance and more. Visitors can also find a broad range of health topics covering conditions, diagnoses, tests, procedures and home care.

Radiothon to Feature Live Patient Stories

Cincinnati Children's will host its fourth annual Cincinnati Cares for Kids Radiothon from February 9-11, 2006. Tune in to Warm 98 (98.5 FM) and 96.5 the Star (96.5 FM) to hear stories of personal triumph from patients, families and employees.

The radiothon will be broadcast live from the Cincinnati Children's main campus. All of the proceeds raised through the three-day event will benefit the children and families served by Cincinnati Children's.
