Crohn's Disease Research Study

Summary
This research study tests the effect of a growth hormone drug (Nutropin) on Crohn's disease when taken with corticosteroids (like prednisone or entocort) compared with the effect of taking corticosteroids alone.
Participants
Children 5 years and older who are diagnosed with Crohn's disease may be eligible.
Pay
Participants will be paid for their time and travel. All study- related testing, clinic visits and Nutropin are provided at no charge.

Sickle Cell Study for Adults and Children

Summary
The Cincinnati Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center is conducting research studies to assess the quality of life for people with sickle cell disease and to develop new medical treatments.
Participants
Adults and children of all ages with sickle cell may be eligible.

Study participants will be paid for their time and travel.
