Colorectal Center Specializes in Treatment for Rare Disorders

Anorectal malformations affect only about 600 children each year in the United States. For a child born with this disorder, the best chance for a good outcome comes with immediate and correct diagnosis and treatment at the time of birth. For these children, the Colorectal Center for Children at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center offers this chance. It is the only pediatric center of its kind in the world.

An Easier Way to Track Your Child's Medications

To help prevent potentially serious errors in drug dosages or interactions, Cincinnati Children's has made it easier for parents to keep track of the over-the-counter and prescription medications their children take. With our new medication record cards, you can be prepared to help us at your child's next appointment. Simply record the medication details and tuck the card in your wallet. Look for these useful cards in your next appointment reminder letter, or find them at our Welcome Centers, Outpatient Pharmacy or the Emergency Department.

The building will open in the summer of 2008 at the corner of I-75 and State Route 129.
