U.S. News Ranks Cincinnati Children’s Among Top Three
U.S. News & World Report ranked Cincinnati Children’s the third best children’s hospital in the United States in General Pediatrics in its annual “America’s Best Children’s Hospitals” ranking. The ranking is the highest Cincinnati Children’s has ever received from U.S. News. “This is an outstanding achievement of which we can and should be very proud,” said president and CEO Jim Anderson.
We also earned a place of honor as ninth in the state in the 2008 “Best Employers in Ohio” recognition program, sponsored by the Ohio Society of Human Resource Managers and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
Ronald McDonald House Adds On
Expansion underway at the Ronald McDonald House of Cincinnati will make it the third largest in the world. Located next to Cincinnati Children’s, the House serves as a residence for families from around the world who remain in town for an extended time while their children receive care at the medical center. Construction will add 30 bedrooms to the existing 48, so that the House can accommodate 1,700 families each year instead of the current 1,000.
