Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center Announces Agreement with Best Upon Request to Provide Concierge Services to Patient Families and Employees

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is pleased to announce its agreement with Best Upon Request (BEST), a certified woman and minority owned company that provides on-site concierge services to organizations looking to improve their internal and external customer satisfaction.

Jessi Lima Bollin, BEST Director of Marketing and Communications, explains that BEST will offer concierge services to both patient families and employees, in efforts to enhance the experience at Cincinnati Children’s.

“BEST will serve Cincinnati Children’s patients and their families through the Guest Services department. We’ll take care of any non-clinical needs that cannot be addressed by Cincinnati Children’s staff and help families under stress when a staff member’s focus is on the patient,” Lima Bollin says.

She goes on to say that employees will have the opportunity to take advantage of a variety of concierge services.

“Starting in late summer of 2013, services to employees will include errand running, grocery shopping, information research, event planning and more. Offloading errands and items on employees’ to-do lists saves them time and provides peace of mind, which allows them to focus better and deliver exceptional care,” Lima Bollin explains.

Several departments at Cincinnati Children’s collaborated to make the BEST-Cincinnati Children’s agreement happen. Such departments include HR, Access Services, and Patient Services. De Asa Brown, Cincinnati Children’s Supplier Diversity Manager and a champion for the Cincinnati Children’s-BEST relationship, says she is happy that the company will be working with the medical center.

“BEST was very deliberate and intentional in their desire to partner with Cincinnati Children’s. I was impressed with their service offerings and their creative strategy to offer additional services that will benefit both our employees and patient families,” she explains. “Additionally, BEST helps Cincinnati Children’s meet its Supplier Diversity goal to spend 7.5% of its annual budget with minority and women-owned businesses,” she says.
