21-year-old Sean Dougherty has cone dystrophy, a condition that deteriorates his vision and makes his eyes extremely sensitive to light. Tiffany Cook, PhD, a researcher at Cincinnati Children's, is working toward a cure for the disease. In the lab, that research includes studying flies to better understand how vision works.
