Spring Into Action

If your idea of family togetherness involves sitting, eating and watching TV, it’s time to get up off the couch.

So we challenge you: Meet or beat the government’s minimum guidelines for physical activity for a month, and tell us how you did it.

That means the kids in the house need an hour of physical activity a day, and adults need 2½ hours of moderate physical activity per week. Keep a journal of your fitness adventures, and we will share the best stories to help inspire others.

Send your fitness challenge stories and pictures to Cincinnati Children’s at youngandhealthy@cchmc.org. The challenge starts now. The deadline for entries is April 25, 2011.
