Clinical Concierge
Cincinnati Children’s is pleased to offer our Clinical Concierge program to help make arranging your visit to Cincinnati easier for you and your child. We know how difficult and expensive it can be to travel here for appointments. Our staff of registered nurses and schedulers will make every effort to coordinate your appointments so you spend as little time as possible away from home.
When two or more appointments are needed during your child’s visit, one of our Clinical Concierge nurses will do the scheduling, ensuring visits with different specialists in a short period of time. We can relieve some stress by helping obtain medical records. We will send you an appointment schedule so you know which specialists are involved in your child’s care.
We partner with Guest Services to help arrange your transportation, lodging and entertainment needs, as well as any services you require while you are here.
To qualify for our program you must:
- Live outside the eight surrounding counties of Hamilton, Butler, Warren, Clermont, Boone, Kenton, Campbell or Dearborn
- Need two or more appointments with specialists in separate divisions
- Know the medical reason your child needs to be seen by each requested specialist
- Have all relevant medical records, including growth charts, test results, lab results and radiology reports
- Verify that your insurance will cover services here
Patients living within the eight surrounding counties are also eligible for this service under the following guidelines:
- Patients with Rare Lung Disease
- Patients with Neuromuscular Disease
- Patients referred by a healthcare provider
International families requesting our services will be referred to our International Patient Care and Education Program.
