Advanced Cardiac Life Support Courses (ACLS)

The Advanced Cardiac Life Support Courses (ACLS) given by Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center presents information and skill training needed for the management of serious cardiac emergencies and arrest in the adult patient. Small group teaching is emphasized, and use of the human patient simulator is included in this course.

Starting in 2011, Cincinnati Children's Hospital has moved to offering ACLS in an online module that will take you 8-12 hours to complete. This will be followed by skills testing at the Center for Simulation & Research on Oak Campus. The online module and access key will be mailed to paid course registrants 4-5 weeks prior to the course. Participants are required to bring documentation of completing this online module in order to participate in the skills testing portion and to receive the ACLS certification card. Please note, the CD is not compatible with Mac operating systems. You must have a PC in order to access and complete the required pre-work.  Participants are required to bring documentation of completing the online module in order to participate in the skills testing portion and to receive the ACLS certification card.

ACLS Course Dates and Times

There will be one 4-hour course offered each day listed below beginning at 8am. Please pay attention to the time of the course when you register.

Note: There is no longer a distinction between the initial ACLS certification and the renewal course.
