Continuing Education
The Division of Emergency Medicine, EMSC Education at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is dedicated to offering educational opportunities for the prehospital care provider. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) continuing education lectures are offered the third Wednesday of every month from 7-9 pm.
Classes are held in the EMSC Education Center, which is located on the second floor of the Medical Education and Resource Center (MERC) and the second floor conference room at the Liberty Campus.
In 2009 EMSC will be Video Conferencing to both locations. The January 2009 class will held at MERC and will VC to the Liberty Campus. The next month, Liberty will host and VC to the MERC. The classes will alternate hosting every other month. This will give the opportunity for continuing education every month at either location. There will be no clases in June, July, November or December.

Earn Credits by Viewing Past EMS Continuing Education Classes( Not available until the fall 2009)
Ohio EMS Continuing Education credits can be awarded to individuals for viewing the online video content. After lectures have been viewed, individuals must open the link to the post-test and the evaluation form. After completing the video lecture,post-test and evaluation. Individuals will be able to print off continuing certification for that lecture.

Lectures are now available to be viewed on videotape / DVD. All sessions are recorded and can be viewed for continuing education credits. Contact the EMSC Education office for further details.
