Infants born at 30 weeks require different care, including nutrition and respiratory management than an infant born at 24 or 36 weeks. Clinical anecdotes reveal inconsistency in the management of the early third trimester preterm infant. The purpose of the educational event is to improve consistency of practice among different institutions.
