Office for Faculty Development Grantsmanship Series Educational Gap: A goal of the 2015 CCHMC Strategic Plan is to "expand the scope and impact of clinical and translational research through the creation of a robust and operationally efficient infrastructure that includes grantsmanship training for faculty". Education regarding grants and funding received is inconsistent within the institution. In addition, half of the surveyed faculty identified grant-writing as a need in their development. This workshop will help to bring everyone together on a common page of training and expertise.
Office for Faculty Development Grantsmanship Series Objectives: 1. Identify gaps in their personal grants expertise and seek education to fill those gaps. 2. Explain how to develop grant aims and hypotheses. 3. Discuss how to improve their ability to obtain grants and funding, and how to keep them. 4. Discuss the different types of funding , what is available, and which is appropriate to their needs.
Additionally, some Office for Faculty Development Grantsmanship Series are "multimedia enhanced" with interactive PowerPoint slides. For additional information on your system requirements please visit Help and Frequently Asked Questions.
