This report focuses on our talented faculty and staff, who generate the ideas and discoveries that are changing the world.
The discoveries produced by our faculty physicians and scientists, working in concert with outstanding graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, research and core support staff, have brought about radical changes at the Cincinnati Children’s Research Foundation in 2008.
Their research activities have resulted in extraordinary increases in NIH funding (9.7% greater than 2007) to a total of more than $101 million, and an increase to $131 million in sponsored projects. And all of this was achieved despite restrictions in federal budget. Our faculty has also authored more than 900 published manuscripts.
The growth in funding and productivity generated by their perseverance and talent has made possible the innovative discoveries you will read about in these pages.
