Overview
Sponsored Programs management at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is a shared responsibility that includes divisional management as well as a group of central offices organized around the primary functions of pre-award, accounting, and fiscal/cost compliance.
Sponsored Programs Pre-award is responsible for facilitating the submission of proposals to outside sponsors. This includes assisting investigators and divisional administrators in the preparation of the administrative components of proposals, reviewing and authorizing submission of all proposals, and serving as the primary liaison between the institution and external sponsors. The office is also responsible for the review, negotiation, and execution of subaward agreements.
Sponsored Programs Accounting is responsible for all system setup and report delivery, financial reporting, and invoicing.
Sponsored Programs Compliance is responsible for subrecipient monitoring, audit interface, and various aspects of internal monitoring and control.
