The Center for Technology Commercialization (CTC) plays a key role in facilitating the translation of discoveries into improved clinical care for children. Our office is responsible for advancing discoveries from the bench to the bedside. CTC protects our innovations through patents; assists in further developing technologies through research partnerships; delivers products to the market through licensing and the creation of start-up companies. The CTC also encourages our researchers and clinicians to collaborate and share the results of their work with other institutions through the use of confidentiality agreements and material transfer agreements.
