Light-Dark Box Emergence

Light-Dark box emergence: This is a test of anxiety conducted by placing a black acrylic box with a passageway to the outer chamber inside one of the locomotor activity chambers.  Emergence is measured by placing the animal in the dark box and recording time to enter the light side.  Light-Dark activity is measured by placing the animal in the light side and recording beam interruptions on each side, number of crossovers and latency to enter the dark.
