CDF-Ohio is the oldest state office. Ohio leads the country in grassroots support for CDF's local work. CDF maintains offices in Columbus and Cincinnati. They focus on programs and policies that affect large numbers of children, rather than on helping families on a case-by-case basis. CDF educates the public about the conditions of children and successful programs. They work to shape federal, state, and local policies for children by identifying cost-effective remedies.
