Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training
The Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training (CCTST) was established by David Stern, MD, Dean of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, in October 2005. The CCTST is co-directed by James Heubi, MD, Professor of Pediatrics and Assistant Dean for Clinical Research, and Joel Tsevat, MD, MPH, Professor of Medicine and Assistant Dean for Clinical Research, and with support from the Program Manager, Susan Swearingen. Located in building "S" on the CCHMC main campus, floor 10, suite 300, the CCTST serves the entire UC Academic Health Center.The CCTST web site contains detailed information about the Center, including:
- Funding opportunities for clinical and translational science research throughout UC and CCHMC
- Dean's Scholars in Clinical Research Program to foster the career development of promising junior faculty with awards of $50,000 per year for up to 3 years
- The Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) Grant was submitted by the University of Cincinnati on June 17, 2008.
