Cincinnati Center for Clinical Research (CCCR)
Located approximately six blocks from the main campus of CCHMC is the Oak Campus of the Cincinnati Children's Hospital and the Cincinnati Center for Clinical Research. The facility includes 18 examination rooms, an an examination room containing a Hologic 4500W DXA, a treatment room, phlebotomy room, nursing station, and conference rooms. Selected projects supported by the GCRC with specific needs for high volume usage of DXA or need for dedicated space for large patient volumes utilize this facility.
The choice of main campus GCRC or CCCR as the site for a project is made by evaluating an algorithm for study needs, and discussions with Dr. James Heubi, GCRC Program Director.
