Industry-Initiated Protocols
Industry-initiated protocols must be fully funded outside of General Clinical Research Center resources. The protocols must also be approved by the hospital's Institutional Review Board before the General Clinical Research Center at Children's Hospital Medical Center of Cincinnati can be used.
Once approved, a protocol, along with a completed Industry-Initiated Protocol Submission Form (PDF l Word), must be submitted to James E. Heubi, MD, program director.
Each protocol submission should include one copy of the following:
- Protocol
- Consent form
- Review board approval
- Protocol submission form
The submission form and budgetary information can be obtained by contacting Andrea Smith, business manager, at 513-636-4273.
Projects are reviewed by the Program Director, and decisions about utilization of the General Clinical Research Center are made after all budgetary and administrative materials are received.
