The Health Policy and Clinical Effectiveness Program is dedicated to advancing Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center commitment to continuously improve the health and quality of life of children and their families. The program does this through:

  • Collaboration with clinical teams and health care leaders to identify, develop,implement and evaluate strategies for cost-effective, evidence-based management ofchildhood disease
  • Education to change the culture of Cincinnati Children's towards evidence-based, cost-effective practice.
  • Support the development of research in clinical effectiveness/health outcomes

The program is funded jointly by Cincinnati Children's Research Foundation and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. We have resources for:

  • Data management and data analysis
  • Process implementation
  • Data analysis and outcomes research
  • Additional resources and expertise are available from health services research investigators in other divisions of the Research Foundation and the University of Cincinnati.
