Clinical Services and Education
The clinical services of the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center are organized to promote a multidisciplinary team approach to care. In addition to the academic faculty in medicine and psychology who provide clinical care, the division includes three nurse practitioners, two social workers and two nutritionists.
Medicine, nursing, social work, and nutrition staff all clinical sessions in the Teen Health Center. During a visit, a patient may see several providers who function as a diagnostic or therapeutic team. This approach allows coordinated and efficient management of coexisting conditions by providers trained in adolescent health care.
