We use the Nutrition Data System for Research software, developed by the prestigious Nutrition Coordinating Center at the University of Minnesota, in combination with proprietary data flow and strict quality assurance developed at the Cincinnati Center for Nutritional Research and Analysis at Cincinnati Children's. All coders have a background in nutrition and are trained and certified in data entry of outpatient food records and recalls. Dietary retrievers are trained and certified to obtain the most accurate information from each subject, resulting in a consistent and systematic calculation of nutrient analysis.
