Overview
The goal of the Center for Epidemiology and Biostatistics is to develop the capacity for leadership in clinical and population-based research at Cincinnati Children's Research Foundation. This is accomplished through:
- Independent, externally-funded research
- Collaborations with divisions to develop and support their research
- Clinical research support
- Mentorship and training
- Academic networking
The mission of the Center is to develop a nationally recognized program in epidemiology and biostatistics that advances the reputation and research capacity of the department as a whole. This is being accomplished through research that advances understanding of child health and/or research methods. Center faculty conduct their own research and/or collaborate with other investigators in their research programs.
