The Graduate Statistics Internship Program

The Graduate Statistics Internship Program is a collaboration with the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Cincinnati. The aim of the program is to provide educational and research experience for PhD students in mathematical statistics. The program allows the students to work on research projects in medical health as well as in statistical methodology development, under the close supervision of faculty statisticians from Division of Biostatistics and Epidemiology and the Department of Mathematical Sciences. The program was established and started in the summer of 2007, led by Dr. Huang from the Division of Biostatistics and Epidemiology, and Professors Siva and Deddens from the Department of Mathematical Sciences.

Currently, six graduate students are actively working on eight projects, under the mentorship and supervision of three faculty statisticians in the Division of Biostastics and Epidemiology (Dr. Mekibib Altaye, Dr. Bin Huang, and Dr. Mi-Ok Kim).

For more information about this program, please contact Dr. Bin Huang at email bin.huang@CCHMC.org, or phone number 636-7612.
