Laura received her Masters degree in Microbial Genetics at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH, where she studied targeted mutation of genes implicated in DNA repair and replication in Sulfolobus acidocaldarius. She also received her B.S degree in Biology from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH.

Megan graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2009 with her BS degree in Biology. While there, she worked in an undergraduate neuroscience research lab and headed the Korsakoff Syndrome project under the supervision of Dr. Kristi Haik.
Taiwo A. Lawal, MD

Taiwo received his medical education at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria (1993 – 2000). He had his residency training in pediatric surgery at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. He awarded the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Scholarship) to do a fellowship in pediatric surgery at the Hannover Medical School, Germany (2006 – 2008). He joined the CCHMC Colorectal Center Group in July 2009 and works on re-operations in Hirschsprung disease amongst other projects.
