Non-GMP quality control testing listed above is provided in coordination with the Translation Trials Development and Support Laboratory.  Research-grade AAV and adenoviral vectors are made available through collaboration with the Columbus Children's Research Institute.  Vector development is provided in collaboration with Dr. Axel Schambach and Prof. Dr. Christopher Baum, at the Department of Experimental Hematology at the Hannover Medical School in Hannover, Germany.

Viral Vector Core for research-grade vector, Location R, Research Foundation Building, 6503.  Vector Production Facility, 3rd floor, Bio/Start Room 3060, located in the Hoxworth Blood Center building.

Fee Structure

The costs for services are charged to the account listed by the investigator. Overall, fees have been subsidized by CCHMC to allow cost efficiency to investigators. Standard pricing can be downloaded from the Viral Vector Core web site. For a specific quotation, please contact the core director.

Additional Information

Open to faculty at the Research Foundation, the University of Cincinnati, the Genome Research Institute, members of OSUCCC, and  other researchers as allowed by core capacity. The Viral Vector Core needs to be acknowledged in all publications and grants that depended on Vector Core services.
