Genetic Analysis of Hyperoxia-Induced Acute Lung Injury
The goal of this research is to generate reciprocal congenic lines of mice for the 5 Shali QTLs; determine the best QTL combination in multi-congenic lines; generate reciprocal congenic substrains for Shali1; narrow Shali1 interval and identify candidate and positional candidate genes involved in survival time to hyperoxic acute lung injury using in vivo, in vitro and in silico strategies.
