| The lab works hard but it also parties. In addition to the usual large get-togethers at Christmas and the spectacular fireworks at the Fourth of July parties, the lab gathers at various times during the year for movie parties, in which individuals choose a movie that reflects either their research project or their home country (India, Japan, Armenia, Latvia, Germany, Poland and, of course, the US). The potluck dinner is also built around the movie theme with everyone trying their hand at ethnic cooking. |
