Post-Doctoral Positions
Possible research areas for Post-Doctoral Research Fellows in the Yutzey Lab include signaling mechanisms controlling early cardiac gene expression, regulation of heart chamber formation, and molecular mechanisms of congenital heart disease. Current research in the lab is focused on calcineurin and BMP signaling pathways well as regulatory functions of T-box and NFAT families of transcription factors. Molecular, genetic and embryological strategies are used in chicken and mouse developmental systems.
The lab is part of a dynamic research group investigating diverse aspects of heart development and disease. Applicants should have a PhD with experience in molecular and/or developmental biology.
