Interested in innate immunity of the skin with a particular focus on epidermal biomarkers and antimicrobial peptides on the skin surface.
Principal investigator for the Cincinnati center, NICHD Neonatal Research Network for the following ongoing clinical trials:
- The Surfactant Positive Airway Pressure and Pulse Oximetry Trial in ELBW infants. (SUPPORT Trial)
- The Business Center for Cost Effective Respiratory Management in the NICU (SUPPORT- Secondary Study).
Research Grants and Contracts
Ohio Department of Health, Division of Family and Community Health services: Regional perinatal outreach education program, every year from 2002 to present,. Award $100,000.
