Brian E. Saelens, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics within the Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) and the College of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Saelens has primary interests in pediatric obesity intervention and in the environmental factors that impact children's weight, eating, and physical activity.

The above studies have been supported by funding from the National Institutes of Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Dr. Saelens' laboratory functions as a result of the hard work of prior and current research staff, including Nicole Patitucci, Brandy Mobley, Carrie Pugh, Sarah Frank, Lindsay Wilson, Rhonda Allen, Sara Mullen, Monica Smith, and Anna Ehlerding.
