Randomized Clinical Trial in Juvenile Fibromyalgia
This project is a multi–site randomized clinical trial to test the efficacy of behavioral intervention combined with usual medical care in the treatment of juvenile fibromyalgia. Dr. Kashikar–Zuck and co–investigators from the Division of Rheumatology are conducting this trial.
The primary objective is to examine whether pain coping skills training is efficacious in reducing functional disability, pain and depressive symptoms in children and adolescents with JPFS. The study will also examine whether treatment effects are maintained after a six-month maintenance phase. For more information call 513-636-1846 or visit www.clinicaltrials.gov.
