Bio

During graduate training, Beverly H. Smolyansky, PhD, was in child clinical psychology at the University of Cincinnati. Her internship training was at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, and it included training on inpatient psychiatry units for children and adolescents, group therapy training, and college counseling center experience.

Dr. Smolyansky's fellowship training is in Developmental Disorders and was completed at the Division of Developmental Disabilities at Cincinnati Children's. Specialties included:

  • Therapy and assessment with children with a range of developmental disorders
  • Autism
  • Ggenetic anomalies
  • Learning disabilities

After her fellowship, Dr. Smolyansky worked on staff at the Division of Developmental Disabilities and briefly in a private practice.

Dr. Smolyansky has been in practice at the Cincinnati Children's main campus for more than two years. This practice is a diverse practice, which includes pediatric psychology and community child clinical psychology. Dr. Smolyansky's patients range in age from 18 months to 18 years. She covers a wide range of mental health issues.
