Bio

Lynne Merk is a native of Cincinnati who has been providing psychological services to children, adults and families since 1996 -- beginning at the Master's level and obtaining her PhD in 1999. Dr. Merk worked as an outpatient therapist with NorthKey Community Care in Florence, Kentucky, for six years prior to joining the staff at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in October 2002.

Dr. Merk's experience and training is broad. Her current practice in Harrison, Ohio, includes pediatric psychology and child clinical psychology for a wide range of mental health issues. Dr. Merk is community and family focused in her approach to treating children -- consulting with other professionals / agencies who are working with the child and / or locating additional community resources for patients and families.

Posttraumatic stress disorder, anxiety, early childhood intervention, parenting, ADHD, behavior problems, noncompliance with medical regimen, depression and other mood disorders, healing from abuse (physical, sexual, or emotional).
